APPLICATION

The Boatman King Scholarship Foundation provides a one year, renewable $2,000.00 cash scholarship to two hard working students who attend the St. Louis Public Schools and show strong values and integrity.

Eligibility Requirements
Seniors in St. Louis Public High Schools who are entering a 2 or 4 year college, trade or technical school, or other post-secondary educational program

Screening guidelines are as follows:
1. Students who have completed all parts of the application
2. Students who have at least a 2.5 G.P.A.
3. Students who have at least a score of 16 on the ACT or equivalent (WorkKeys, EOC, etc.)
4. Students who have demonstrated financial need.
 

The scholarship is received in the form of 2x $1,000.00 payments. One payment per semester. In order to receive the second payment, you must provide your grades to show that you have met the eligibility requirements.

Students who are previous year’s recipients must provide an official college transcript showing a G.P.A. of 2.5 or higher to be eligible for the $2,000 scholarship the following school year.
